Cahboni, children of Cahbon

The Cahboni are organized into tribes, which are made up of clans. Leaders are the strongest and the most brutal among the clan leaders. It is usually inter-tribal warfare that is used as a forum for this brutality, as intra-tribal warfare simply weakens the tribe as a whole and incites attack from without. Intra-clan fighting is common, however, and this is viewed as a training ground for tribal politics.

Women are very rarely leaders, though wives are expected to provide their husbands and fathers with good advice. Marriages are used as political tools for cementing relationships between two clans or sometimes between tribes.

The low IQ (-2) of the Cahboni is more the function of a society that eschews intellectual activity as being effeminate, as opposed to a lack of intelligence. This is one of the reasons that women are only -1 to IQ, as they are expected to be clever, and able to offer good council to the men.

Religion is straightforward, as might be expected. Cahbon, the god, is respected and feared as a mighty and brutal warrior. His priests offer sacrifice to gain favor as well as to propitiate him. Many heroes are also asked for help, and they are viewed as Cahbon's trusted underlings. The spirits of heroes are much more accessible than Cahbon himself, though they are no where near as powerful.
