Example #1

Class 1
A dingo type dog
Killing it places a 2 point curse on it's slayer. However anyone who is kind to it will receive a 3 point blessing. This dog would almost guarantee that it's owner (if kind) would be a very lucky fellow. A perfect companion to a hero.

Class 2
A dingo type dog
Locals have learned to fear the sight of this mangy dog with one tattered ear. Just seeing him results in a 1 point curse. Locals will hide or cover their eyes if someone is unlucky enough to see him in the area. If he is killed his slayer will become permanently Unlucky (at least til a Remove Curse spell is cast on him).

Class 3
A dingo type dog
This dog has the hindquarters of a kangaroo rat, making it into a type of canine kangaroo. It can leap fairly prodigious distances, thus making it a very effective hunter.

Class 4
A dingo type dog
This dog is twice as big as a normal dingo, making him about 6' long and 260 lbs.

Class 5
A dingo type dog
Locals know that if this greyish dog with a white circle over it's eye is seen that something bad will occur soon. If it was ever killed it's slayer would have a 2 point curse laid on him.

Class 6
A dingo type dog
This behemoth is 11 times bigger than a normal dingo. This makes him about 33' long and 18' high and weighing around 8,500 lbs. Because he needs an enormous amount of food he is very aggressive in his hunting, his great size allows him to hunt creatures that he normally wouldn't, like humans or riding animals. It bestows on any who help it a 2 point blessing, nobody has discovered this yet. If it is killed it's slayer is beset by a 2 point curse.



Example #2

Class 1
A 4' 15 lbs. rattlesnake
This rattler has a skull shaped design on it's head. It's presence foretells bad tidings, and woe unto anyone who would kill it, since it carries a 3 point curse for it's slayer.

Class 2
A 4' 15 lbs. rattlesnake
This rattler has an IQ of 15 and can speak in a soft hissing voice. It uses it's spells to help it hunt, but also to gain human servants. It uses Tanglefoot to trip someone so that they are face to face with him, then he tells them that he will spare them if they agree to bring him food. Enticements include "healing" them from the sickness he can cause, warnings of death that can be averted only through his help, etc. It has the following spells. All are cast with a skill of 15.
Charm - 13 uses
Death Vision - 5 uses
Tanglefoot - 9 uses
Sickness - 9 uses
Mental Stun - 11 uses
Curse (1 pt only) - 8 uses
Fear - 13 uses


Class 3
A 4' 15 lbs. rattlesnake
This snake has a scorpion-like carapace on it's back instead of normal snake scales, it also has a wicked 1" long scorpion barb instead of the usual rattle on it's tail. The poisonous tail make this snake tough to grab on to for predators. The tail injects a venom equal to the snake's bite.

Class 4
A 4' 15 lbs. rattlesnake
hmmmm a combination of 11 different animals….oh dear

Class 5
A 4' 15 lbs. rattlesnake
This rattler has the wings of a desert eagle which allows it to fly in a rather ungainly fashion. It also has the head of a toad (with fangs intact) which it uses to mimic toad noises and lure unsuspecting toads to their deaths.

Class 6
A 4' 15 lbs. rattlesnake
This titanic snake is 20' long and weighs about 240 lbs. It has the horn of a rhino on it's snout which it uses for excavating it's burrows. It can lay a 2 point blessing on any who help it, but this is unlikely to ever occur. And anyone who would slay it will be Cursed (the disadvantage where you're hosed).



Example #3

Class 1 
A 7' tall 650 lb. Diatryma
An unusually large member of this species, this bird stands 14' tall and weighs 5,200 lbs. 

Class 2 
A 7' tall 650 lb. Diatryma
Can speak with a horrid, rasping voice. It's IQ is 6.

Class 3 
A 7' tall 650 lb. Diatryma
Anyone who kills this bird will gain the Unluckiness disadvantage, also anyone who is kind to it (yeah) will gain a 2 point blessing.

Class 4 
A 7' tall 650 lb. Diatryma
This bird can speak in a gigantic bird type voice and has an IQ of 10. He will on occasion converse with humans.

Class 5 
A 7' tall 650 lb. Diatryma
Another talking bird that has an IQ of 10. It can also cast the "Stone Missile" spell by "kicking" the stone from the ground. It can cast from a 1D6+1 to 10D6+10 stone but each D6+1 used takes an hour to regenerate. It has the normal chance to hit with the stones (DEX-3).

Class 6
A 7' tall 650 lb. Diatryma
This fellow is very freaky looking. Unlike normal Diatryma he has very large wings which allows him to fly at a speed of 13. He also has an extra pair of legs, making him, in effect, a quadruped with a stubby body. He has 4 "arms" in the form of small (2' long) bird claws arranged somewhat like a T-Rex's forelimbs. He has the permanent magical ability of "Remove Shadow" on himself, which means you wont have a lot of warning when his 650 lbs. crashes into you on a power dive. He is well known in the region he lives in an to see him is to be due for misfortune. If anyone ever killed him they would be struck with the Unluckiness disadvantage.
